Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy Students Head Back to School

— Statewide online public school returns for its fourth year on
September 6 —

MANISTEE, Mich.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Michigan
Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA), a full-time, online public
charter school authorized by Manistee Area Public Schools, will return
for their 2016-2017 school year on September 6, as the program marks its
fourth year of operation in the state. MGLVA offers students an
exceptional learning experience using the award-winning K12 curriculum.

At MGLVA, students and their families access lessons online and receive
support from state-certified teachers who monitor progress and provide
professional instruction, communicating daily with students through
e-mail, telephone, and online meetings. The tuition-free public school
offers an alternative to a traditional brick-and-mortar education and is
available to all Michigan students.
