Get your groove on at La Boom
The minute I turned on the radio and heard, “La Boom nightclub is the place to be tonight,” I had to check it out for myself.
For the past five years, La Boom has been drawing partygoers from Queens and beyond. Just like the borough it is located in, the crowd is diverse, with Asians, Dominicans, Colombians, and Italian among those partying.
La Boom has “Tropical Saturday,” when they have DJ Bacan Bacan or DJ Precise spinning. They also have Go-Go dancers on a stage. But don’t you worry ladies, they have men up there too.
Partygoers can sign up on the guest list by calling (718) 204-2069 and you’re in free until 12 a.m. If you’re not on the guest list, it’s a $20 cover charge before 12 a.m. and $25 after.
Drinks are from $10-$12 and trust me, they aren’t watered down either.
For those of you who are interested in celebrating your birthday, La Boom has two VIP areas and one of their birthday packages is $300, where you get two bottles, champagne, hookah and a cake. Your picture is shown throughout the club on their HD televisions that same night and you get shout- outs in the club and on the radio. So you’re treated like a star on your night, where everyone gets glow sticks and balloons to keeping the hype going.
This Saturday, La Boom has a “Glow In The Dark Body Paint Party,” so you don’t want to miss that!
