“Cantinflas,” starring Spaniard Oscar Jaenada, tells the story of the great Mexican comedian Mario Moreno from his beginnings in local tent shows up through the development of the character he played in “Around the World in 80 Days,” for which he won the Golden Globe, as well as how the film was made.

Colorado Ricardo claimed to be the original author of the script, not Edui Tijerina, who is the one getting all the credits for the film starring Oscar Jaenada.

According to “People Español,” Colorado reported that he has contracts, testimonials and certificates which can prove that the idea was originally his.

He also claims that he met the nephew of “Cantinflas” Moreno Laparade Eduardo, who holds a lawsuit that authorized the shooting, Mario Moreno Ivanova, son of actor.

Mexico has received eight Oscar nominations in the past on the same category,  but it has walked away empty-handed every time.
