Fifth Harmony embark the new year with debut studio album

Pop group Fifth Harmony is off to a great start in 2015, as the quintet prepares to release their debut studio album “Reflection,” all while they tease their fans on social media. SEE ALSO: Girl power is going strong with musical act Fifth Harmony Simon Cowell formed the band three years ago when they successfully auditioned as soloists for “The X Factor.” The group came in third place in the talent show’s second season and have since been a hot act. Becoming a quick favorite in pop music, Fifth Harmony even garnered MTV’s Artist To Watch award at the 2014 VMAs. Composed by Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello, Normani Hamilton, Dinah Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui, the talented girls are ready to welcome the new year with their first-ever full-length studio album. But the celebration wouldn’t exist if you don’t include the ‘Harmonizers,’ their extremely devoted–sometimes obsessive–fan base. As the group counts down to the January 27th release of their album, they reached out to their 914K Instagram followers to share sound clips of what to expect in their forthcoming production. One of the tracks which began to make the rounds since January 1st is their playful and fun cover of Mark Ronson’s current hit “Uptown Funk” featuring Bruno Mars. #Regram from @allybrookeofficial Don't believe me, just watch #5Hin2015 A video posted by Fifth Harmony (@fifthharmony) on Jan 1, 2015 at 10:55am PST #Regram from @camila_cabello uptown funk you up, uptown funk you up…….. hear any familiar voices? #5Hin2015 A video posted by Fifth Harmony (@fifthharmony) on Jan 1, 2015 at 3:19pm PST “Reflection,” released by Syco Music and Epic Records, follows the release of their 2013 EP “Better Together.”  The group told Billboard that their new tunes are laid-back, less pop and have a more mature sound than their previous work.
