Fly away with Lenny Kravitz at the Super Bowl halftime show

Football fan or not, the halftime show at the Super Bowl is always an event to look forward to. Even more when Lenny Kravitz has been confirmed at this year’s sports and musical phenomenon.

It was announced last year that Katy Perry will headline the popular halftime show in its 2015 edition.

But the pop star won’t be alone in the journey, as she invited Kravitz to join her on stage at event.

She revealed the big announcement over the weekend during AFC playoff game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots, reports Rolling Stone.

“My first special guest is going to be an incredible rock & roll icon, a guitar god,” said Perry before unveiling the exciting news.

Considering she said he was was her “first” special guest, Katy Perry could potentially have another surprise up her sleeve, but we’d have to wait until February 1st to see what happens at the Super Bowl.

Performing at the Super Bowl will be a rock and roll start of Kravitz’s busy year.

Following the release of his 2014 album “Strut,” the legendary American rocker is expected to hit the road once again with an international tour.

The Super Bowl halftime show has always been full of surprises with everything from infamous nipple sightings to Beyonce reuniting with Destiny’s Child on stage.

It has also featured worldwide superstars such as Paul McCartney, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bruno Mars and Madonna.
