Piolin has penned his life away in a forthcoming autobiography. Will you be reading? I was never too fond of radio personality Eduardo Sotelo, popularly known as “Piolin,” but after listening to his show on Sirius XM, I couldn’t help but to keep tuning in. To my surprise, “El Show de Piolin” was pulled from the broadcasting company ending 2014 –right when I was getting attached. This isn’t the first time Piolin gets dropped from a station, it happened in Univision also. In his autobiography, titled “¿A qué venimos? ¡A triunfar!” (What did we come for? To Win!), Piolin talks about how he found his voice within faith, strength and determination. In order for readers to enter to his life, the radio host –who is primarily popular in the Mexican community– told People en Español he did some deep digging into his past. “I had to reunite with almost every day with my parents to recall anecdotes and stories from my childhood,” he said. “It’s a big responsibility to write a book.”   In his literature project, which includes a prologue by Cuban producer Emilio Estefan, the 42-year-old narrates everything from personal family problems to his experience crossing the U.S. border as an undocumented immigrant. He also talks about his marriage with Maria Luisa. “There’s a section in the book where she talks about my virtues, it’s about 140 pages, and my defects, which is one blank page,” he joked.
