Ever since her moms passing in December 2012, Janney “Chiquis” Rivera has dealt with loving support as well as unsupportive people as she takes the reign of her late mother. Though she can’t please everyone, Chiquis is recently celebrating her cover on Latina magazine.
The past three years have been quite the roller coaster for Chiquis, who assured to VOXXI in a past interview that she’s a “huge Jenni Rivera fan” and that she respects her music.

But some die-hard Jenni fans, however, are not thrilled with the 29-year-old aspiring star taking her mother’s throne.
And despite the negative feedback that this LA-based gal receives on a daily basis, Chiquis opens up about love, lies, scandals and her mom in the April edition of Latina.
The magazine teased fans with snippets of the interview, like the following:
Chiquis is remarkably similar to her mother from her beautiful curves down to her mannerisms. Having served as consigliere in Jenni Rivera Enterprises, a multimillion-dollar company encompassing music, TV, clothing, fragrances and more, Chiquis launched her own career as a singer in 2014, and plans to release her debut album, a bilingual mix of banda and pop, in May.
Latina also revealed the sensual and sleek cover, starring Chiquis in a tight, black and nude dress that reveals her cleavage and hugs her curvas peligrosas in all the right places.

“I’m so honored and humbled not only to be on the cover of Latina Magazine, but to share it with all of you,” she expressed to her fans on social media.
“Thank you to everyone who made it possible!!,” she sent a shout out to her glam team. “And of course thanks to all of YOU for your love and support. It means the world to me!! #LosQuiero,” she added.

Prior to the release of her debut album, Chiquis plans to unveil her book “Perdon” (Forgiveness) on April 7th, where she breaks her silence on many controversies she was involved in.
