Corte de energía interrumpió operaciones en LAX

Una serie de interrupciones del servicio de energía en el aeropuerto Internacional de Los Ángeles ha dejado a cientos de personas sin servicio y con sus vuelos cancelados.
El último corte de energía se presentó esta mañana a las 6:00 a.m. aproximadamente en la Terminal 1, donde se encuentra la aerolínea nacional Southwest. La interrupción, que duró al menos una hora, provocó la evacuación de los pasajeros que se encontraban en la terminal.
Además, la Administración de Seguridad de Transporte (TSA por sus siglas en inglés) anunciaron que todos los usuarios debían pasar nuevamente por todos los controles de seguridad. Al menos 1,500 pasajeros se vieron afectados por el doble chequeo de seguridad.
Sin embargo, el problema del corte de energía también afectó a los pasajeros que viajaban este miércoles en la noche. Las Terminales 1, 7 y 8 sufrieron interrupciones en el servicio entre las 6:05 p.m. y las 10:05 p.m. Todos los vuelos de Southwest a partir de las 9:23 p.m. fueron cancelados.
Al menos 21 vuelos fueron cancelados anoche, a los cuales se suman 11 cancelaciones y 15 retrasos en los vuelos de esta mañana.
