A CALL TO MEN to Host Free Training for North and South Carolina Educators to Prevent Sexual Assault in High School and College
The two-day event will provide advanced training on engaging men and
boys in preventing sexual assault and addressing rape culture
CHARLOTTE, N.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#NextGenManhood–A CALL TO MEN will host a free training for North and South Carolina
educators to prevent sexual assault in high school and college. The
event, titled LIVERESPECT on Campus – Preventing Sexual
Assault in High School and College – will provide education and
prevention strategies on engaging young men to reduce sexual assault,
while promoting healthy, respectful manhood. The conference will
facilitate conversations that are critical to the experience and
development of students, while addressing rape culture and preventing
sexual assault.

High school and college administrators, educators, athletic directors, coaches, youth workers, social service providers, student leaders, members of Greek and fraternal organizations, men’s and women’s organizations, and the advocacy community qualify to attend for free. |

WHAT: |
A CALL TO MEN will convene influential and passionate voices to examine: manhood on campus, pornography and sexting, gang involved youth, hope and healing for men, the cycle of consequences, Title IX, what’s working, engaging men and boys, movement building, community specific responses, culturally relevant intervention strategies, using an intersectional lens, and following the leadership of the LGBTQ community. |

A CALL TO MEN has reached 500+ colleges and universities, educating students and faculty members on healthy, respectful manhood, and preventing violence and discrimination against all women and girls.
