Aerosim Flight Academy Honors Women Aviators with New Scholarship Program

SANFORD, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Committed to making the dreams of its aviation students a reality, Aerosim
Flight Academy
recently announced its new Women Aviators Scholarship
program which is designed to offer assistance to deserving women with
the potential to make a positive impact on the aviation industry based
on their demonstrated talent, passion and skills.

“Through the Aerosim Flight Academy Women
Aviators Scholarship
program, qualified recipients can receive up to
$10,000 to apply toward their tuition for our Professional Pilot
Program,” explains President and General Manager, Aerosim Flight Academy
Hank Coates. “Our female instructors and students continue to make
impressive contributions to the aviation field including participation
in the Air Race Classic, a race dedicated to preserving and promoting
the tradition of pioneering women in aviation. This scholarship program
is just one more step in our on-going effort to support and bring
specific awareness to women in aviation, while we also address the
industry’s immediate need for skilled, professional pilots.”

Additionally, Aerosim Flight Academy recently launched the High
School Senior Merit Scholarship
program to support the development
of future generations of professional pilots. The program, which is
currently accepting applications through April 11, 2016, recognizes
students who wish to pursue advanced training in the aviation industry
and includes two $35,000 tuition awards for new professional pilot
cadets.
