Ameda Launches New Website Providing Breast Milk Feeding Education, Support and Resources
BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#bfing–Ameda, Inc., a leader in breast milk for babies for over 75 years,
launched a new website that provides breast milk feeding education,
support and resources for moms and healthcare professionals.
The site highlights three new sections that deliver relevant and
original content to consumers and healthcare professionals.
-
Milk
101 is their educational center helping consumers get the most out
of their breastfeeding and breast pumping experience. -
The
Village is the digital forum featuring real stories by real
people. Ameda believes that every mom’s journey is unique and with The
Village Ameda hopes to provide community and support through the
sharing of stories and experiences. -
The new site also features a section specially designed for Healthcare
Professionals where they can find a place to support themselves
and their moms.
Vicki Twomey, digital marketing manager at Ameda stated. “Our objective
for the new site is to provide the best breastfeeding and breast pumping
education, tools, and products to help moms achieve her feeding goals.
We started by understanding how she searches, finds and consumes content
relevant to her family and journey. Next we meet with moms across the
country in person and via screen share to gather more insight and truly
optimize the site for her.”
Jessica Martin-Weber, owner/founder of The
Leaky Boob states “Over 6 years of supporting families online in
feeding their babies I have seen the tremendous need for community based
support and I’m so grateful that Ameda, trustworthy within the
breastfeeding world, is rising to the challenge with The Village in the
global town hall that is the internet. There’s no such thing as too much
support, not when so many aren’t yet meeting their breastfeeding goals.”
