Amscot Continues Scholarship Funding for the Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Preservation Institute

TAMPA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#givingwednesday–Amscot has matched its previous donation of $5,000 in an effort to
benefit the Mary McLeod Bethune Legacy Preservation Institute. As
before, the scholarships will continue to assist students who attend
Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona, Florida, but who also struggle
with financial hardships. The scholarships will help provide housing and
books.

The organization’s CEO, Dr. Evelyn Bethune, says she is grateful for
organizations like Amscot that understand the importance of empowering
individuals who are challenged financially but want to pursue education.
