Astorino and Latin Business Today Invite Business Owners to the Hispanic Small Business Summit Wednesday Evening Oct. 7

Event will focus on key areas of small business development –
customers, capital and contracts

–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Westchester County NY Executive Robert P. Astorino in partnership with
Latin Business Today, a national online publication dedicated to
enabling the success and growth of Latino small businesses, invite
Hispanic small business owners to the 2nd annual Hispanic
Business Summit – “Crossroads to Customers, Capital and Contracts” – on Wednesday,
October 7 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Westchester Community College,
Gateway Center Atrium, 75 Grasslands Road, Valhalla, NY
.

“Building on the success of our first Hispanic Business Summit last
year, we are delighted to bring it back with our partner, Latin Business
Today,” Astorino said. “Approximately 10 percent of all Westchester
businesses are owned by Hispanics, and that number continues to grow. As
a result, we are working hard to create environments that bring business
owners together to learn about every available tool that can help start
or grow their enterprise.”

The summit was created for local business owners to listen and learn
from a panel and of business experts and mentors in workshops who will
weigh in on three important topics:

  • Customers: How to reach your customers and increase your
    business through targeted marketing and innovative solutions.
  • Capital: How to gain access to capital through loans and
    financing programs.
  • Contracts: How to navigate the process of securing government
    contracts.

The interactive workshops will serve the same themes through practical
applications to facilitate business growth.
