Chicken of the Sea Donates Seafood for Louisiana Flood Relief

Shelf-stable seafood brand supplies more than 50,000 cans and
pouches

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Chicken
of the Sea® announced a donation of more than $80,000 in canned and
pouched seafood to those impacted by the recent flooding in Louisiana.

Chicken of the Sea has arranged delivery of more than 4,000 cases of
seafood, amounting to 50,000 single-serve cans and pouches, to United
Way of Southeast Louisiana. The San Diego-based seafood provider is
donating a variety of products including: Premium Select Solid White
Albacore Tuna in Oil, Tilapia Fillets in Marinara Sauce and Tilapia
Fillets in Teriyaki Sesame Sauce.

“We hope this shelf-stable product brings some small relief and
nourishment to the Louisiana community affected by the severe flooding,”

“Our hearts and thoughts are with all of those in the flood region.”

United Way of Southeast Louisiana is accepting relief items and cash
