Líder of the Year JoAnna Michelle Cintrón Honored at Special Reception

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Coors Light Líder of the Year JoAnna Michelle Cintrón will be honored at
a special reception with family, friends, and distinguished community
leaders at the Governor’s Residence at the Boettcher Mansion. Guests
will also commemorate the 10th
anniversary
of the Coors Light Líderes program and celebrate the
achievements of a decade of past líderes and nominees. As Líder of
the Year, Cintrón received a $25,000 grant to develop a Latino
leadership program for the Denver Film Society, a nonprofit organization
that engages diverse communities through unique and thought-provoking
film experiences like the CineLatino Film Festival and educational
programs for adults and filmmakers. The Denver Film Society is also the
creator of the award-winning Denver Film Festival.

“It is an honor to be chosen to represent the Denver Film Society and
CineLatino as the 2015 Coors Light Líder,” said JoAnna.
“Coors Light is committed to investing in the professional development
of emerging Latino leaders, and I am excited to use the $25,000 grant to
expand the Denver Film Society’s efforts to reach the Latino community
and create programs to showcase the work of so many talented Latino
filmmakers and storytellers.”

Cintrón believes in the power of film to educate, entertain, and
empower. As early as high school, she recognized how film can be a
transformative and educational medium. In her professional and personal
life, Cintrón continues to highlight Latino films and promote the

The Coors Light Líderes program which launched in Denver, Colorado 10
years ago, demonstrates Coors Light ongoing commitment to embrace the
values that encourage people to take on challenges and explore new
opportunities. For the past decade, Latino leaders in the program have
risen to the occasion to achieve success and make a difference to
empower their communities.

Alberto Senior, who leads MillerCoors national Latino community efforts,
said “It is heartwarming to return to Denver where the Coors Light
Líderes program was launched and to recognize JoAnna and the outstanding
achievements of all past líderes. JoAnna is a great success story that
will inspire others and a tireless advocate who is promoting the voices
of Latinos. On this special occasion of our 10th year, I am
delighted to recognize JoAnna’s work and partner with her on a program
that will benefit the Latino community in Denver.”

The Coors Light Líderes program has recognized and highlighted
the achievements of emerging Latino leaders through an online public
voting competition, a national and local advertising campaign and robust
community outreach. Cintrón was among 12 Latino leaders nominated by
local and national nonprofit organizations for their leadership and
contributions to their communities. Cintrón was named Coors Light Líder
of the Year in November 2015.

Coors Light Líderes aspires to new and unique heights. The 10th
anniversary celebration will commemorate the fact that the program has
been honoring and supporting emerging Latino leaders since 2006. The
projects developed by the Coors Light Líderes grants have promoted
leadership, education, environment responsibility, and business while
providing aspiring leaders a broad range of networking and professional
growth tools, empowering them to go further. The 2016 public call for
nominations will begin on April 19, 2016. For more information visit www.CoorsLightLideres.com

About Coors Brewing Company

Coors Brewing Company was founded in 1873 by Adolph Coors, who chose the
Clear Creek Valley in Golden, Colo., for his new brewery because of the
pure water in the nearby Rocky Mountain springs. The brewery’s original
and most enduring beer is Coors Banquet (Coors.com,
Facebook.com/CoorsBanquet, YouTube.com/OfficialCoorsBanquet), still
brewed exclusively in Golden using only Rocky Mountain water and
high-country barley. Coors Light (CoorsLight.com,
Facebook.com/CoorsLight, @CoorsLight on Twitter, YouTube.com/CoorsLight)
was introduced in 1978 and now is the second-best-selling beer in the
United States. Triple-filtered smooth Keystone Light (KeystoneLight.com,
Facebook.com/KeystoneLight) is one the country’s most popular economy
beers. Coors Brewing Company operates in the United States and Puerto
Rico as part of MillerCoors, a joint venture of SABMiller plc and Molson
Coors Brewing Company. Learn more at MillerCoors.com, at
