Dell is dedicated to using the charitable proceeds from the tournament

achievement that will have a measurable and lasting impact on the
community’s youth.

“Dell believes that technology has always been about enabling human
potential—enabling people to grow and thrive,” said Trisa Thompson, vice
president of Corporate Responsibility, Dell. “Developing that potential
in future generations is why we believe in and support Youth Learning as
the core of our corporate giving strategy.

“By bringing the World Golf Championships-Dell Match Play to Austin, we

The Dell Match Play is one in a series of four World Golf Championships
events held each season on the PGA TOUR. Since 1999, these four events
have combined to generate more than $50 million in charity. In addition
to supporting The First Tee on a national level, the Dell Match Play
will generate funds for the named Austin charities.

“The Austin area has shown great support for the World Golf
Championships-Dell Match Play from day one,” said Tournament Director
Jordan Uppleger. “We are thrilled to have such wonderful community
organizations to partner with as we approach the tournament. Making a
positive impact in communities where PGA TOUR tournaments are held and
players live has always been an essential element of the TOUR’s
charitable mission.”
