DQ® Invites Emily Blunt to Lunch for Life
Actress didn’t know what DQ stands for during quiz
on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Queen®.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress, who
recently became a U.S. citizen, tried to answer Kimmel’s citizenship
questions. She did not know what DQ stood for even as she spotted
someone pretending to lick an ice cream cone.
“Well we certainly want to change that,” said Barry Westrum, executive
vice president of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ).
“We’d like to invite Ms. Blunt to lunch or dinner at Dairy Queen
as many times as she’d like to come to celebrate her American

It might be understandable that Blunt, who stars in the new film
Sicario, doesn’t recognize DQ as Dairy Queen because the
brand does not yet have a presence in her home country of Great Britain.
