Dr. Dennis Tse Joins SCAN Health Plan as Corporate Medical Director

LONG BEACH, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SCAN Health Plan announced today the appointment of Dennis Tse, M.D., as
corporate medical director for Southern California, effective
immediately.

Dr. Tse brings to SCAN more than two decades of experience in managed
care. Prior to joining SCAN, Dr. Tse served as a regional medical
director for AltaMed Health Services, the largest independent Federally
Qualified Community Health Center in the U.S., with 43 sites in Los
Angeles and Orange counties. He has also held positions with Facey
Medical Group and High Desert Medical Group. As corporate medical
director for SCAN in Southern California, Dr. Tse will work closely with
the clinical leadership at SCAN-contracted medical groups.

including extensive experience with managed care quality-improvement

A graduate of the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center,
Dr. Tse completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at
University of California, Los Angeles. He also completed a nephrology
fellowship at UCLA and served as chief nephrology fellow at Sepulveda
Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Tse is board certified in internal
medicine and nephrology.
