eHarmony Announces the Appointment of Ken Walker as Chief Product Officer

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–eHarmony today announced the appointment of Ken Walker to its management
team as Chief Product Officer where he will oversee eHarmony’s products
and features and grow its mobile business. Mr. Walker comes to eHarmony
from ZipRecruiter where he helped grow that business from a bootstrapped
startup to its first $100 million in revenue. Mr. Walker’s experience
and product leadership will help eHarmony grow and adapt to a fast
changing, mobile world. More than 64% of new users come to eHarmony
through the company’s mobile platforms with new users overall growing at
a high rate.

“eHarmony holds an important place in the industry, representing the
most innovative matching process with the most success for helping
create lasting relationships,” said Dr. Neil Clark Warren, founder and
CEO of eHarmony. “As we continue to grow, leading trends for meaningful
and authentic life experiences, we expect that Ken’s expertise and
contributions will be key to the business and we’re so pleased to
welcome him to the eHarmony management team.”

In recent years, while the online dating industry has become populated
with niche apps that dedicate themselves to limited aspects of a
relationship, eHarmony brings people together who are deeply compatible,
echoing trends toward authenticity visible in every industry.

eHarmony has also brought its compatibility science to the jobs
industry, launching a new platform for job seekers and hiring
organizations called Elevated Careers by eHarmony.

“The eHarmony brand has maintained market leadership, leveraging its
rich history to connect millions of people and I’m honored to join such
a well-respected brand,” said Walker. “ “eHarmony has a strong, unique
position in the industry and I’m excited about the opportunities to
redefine our mobile experience and bring eHarmony to new audiences.”

Mr. Walker served as Chief Product Officer at ZipRecruiter for four
years prior to joining eHarmony and has been in tech for 14 years. He
holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University’s College of Business
Administration.
