Ellen Zaman Inducted Into the Council of Regents for the American College of Healthcare Executives

Zaman, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Associate Vice President
of Government and Industry Relations, Will Serve a Three-year Term

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ellen Zaman, FACHE, associate vice president, Government and Industry
relations at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), was inducted into
the Council of Regents for the American College of Healthcare Executives
(ACHE), representing Southern California.

Zaman was installed as a regent at ACHE’s 60th Congress on Healthcare
Leadership in Chicago last month. ACHE installed 28 new regents, each of
whom will serve three-year terms. The elected regents will represent
ACHE members in their respective jurisdictions. All of the regents are
board certified in healthcare management as ACHE fellows.

More than 2,600 health care leaders of ACHE’s local chapters, Health
Care executives of Southern California and the San Diego Association of
Health Leaders, elected Zaman as Regent for Southern California to
represent them on the governing body of ACHE.

As Regent, Zaman will continue the advancement of education,
professional development and connectivity for health care leaders,
executives, faculty and students throughout the region.

Zaman, the immediate past president of the Healthcare Executives of
Southern California, is Board Certified in health care management. She
holds a Master of Public Administration from New York University, and a
Master of Social Welfare from Fordham University.
