Ethnic Digital Magazine, EthnicSeattle.com, Launches Today

Website Increases Visibility of Ethnic Businesses & Cultures

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Ethnic Business Coalition (EBC), a non-profit organization founded
by influential ethnic business owners, today announced the launch of a
groundbreaking new digital publication, EthnicSeattle.com.
The one-of-a-kind website will serve as an engaging resource for locals
and visitors to discover Seattle’s various ethnic communities and
businesses. EthnicSeattle.com provides a one-stop resource on
ethnic communities, spotlighting Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hispanic,
East African, Japanese, Filipino and Cambodian cultures.

The original content for EthnicSeattle.com focuses on Seattle’s
expansive ethnic areas, including Chinatown/International District,
Central District, Rainier Valley and West Seattle. Through videos, blog
posts and articles, the website uncovers ethnic food offerings, trends,
products, services, and cultural events in Seattle. Viewers can look
forward to an inside look at how local restaurateur Tom Douglas
traverses ethnic cuisine. Current content includes Japanese “it” food,
diversity-inspired toys, Seattle’s best Vietnamese delis and shopping in
Chinatown/International District.

The site also includes an original interview with Mayor Ed Murray about
Seattle’s ethnic community.

“Ethnic and immigrant owned businesses are part of what makes Seattle
unique and their vitality is essential to our city,” said Murray.
“Seattle families speak 141 languages in their homes. EthnicSeattle.com
draws attention to this amazing diversity and propels it to the
mainstream forefront.”
