Financial Services Roundtable for Supplier Diversity Awards Executive Education Scholarship to OPTIMA Lender Services

JERSEY CITY, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Financial Services Roundtable for Supplier Diversity (FSRSD)
recently awarded its annual scholarship to the prestigious Amos Tuck
Minority Business Executive Program to Monique Winston, chief executive
officer OPTIMA Lender Services, LLC. The award was presented in Chicago
at the FSRSD’s flagship supplier development event, its annual symposium
and networking reception.

“Our goal is to implement sustainable programs that support the growth
and development of minority and woman-owned businesses,” said Michelle
Howell, co-chair of FSRSD’s Supplier Development Committee, which
oversees the scholarship selection process. “The executive education
scholarship anchors our supplier development strategy.”

The executive education program is offered by the Tuck School of
Business at Dartmouth College. Tuck has been an integral part of
minority business education and developing diverse suppliers for over
three decades. Dr. Fred McKinney, managing director of minority business
programs at Tuck, presented the scholarship to Winston.

“I am so grateful to the FSRSD and PNC Bank for giving me an opportunity
that allows OPTIMA to continue to grow,” said Winston. “These are
precisely the types of opportunities which enable minority owned
businesses to thrive and not just survive. I want to thank PNC not only
for the nomination but more importantly for all of their support. We’ve
established a true partnership where they are equally vested in OPTIMA’s
success.”

OPTIMA Lender Services is a national title agency based in Cleveland,
Ohio. The company is minority-owned and controlled and has been in
operation since 2012. In four short years, OPTIMA has positioned itself
as a single source multi-state solution to lenders, providing title,
settlement and related services for both commercial and residential
properties across the U.S.

Scholarship applicants were nominated by an FSRSD member and evaluated
on growth trajectory, geographic market capability, expected outcomes
from attending the program, industry impact and personal and
professional development. Noting the overall excellence of all the
candidates, the selection committee scored Winston highest in all
categories. “Monique clearly expressed the value she expected to receive
from this opportunity and how the program could help take her company to
the next level,” said Kate Kleyman, co-chair of the Supplier Development
Committee and member of the scholarship selection committee.
