Gate 1 Foundation Announces Completion of 30 School Projects in 13 Countries along Tour Routes

Building and infrastructure improvements have impacted the lives of
nearly 2,000 students to date

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Gate 1 Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to
improving lives through worldwide education, today announced that is has
completed building and infrastructure projects for 30 schools in 13
countries that have directly impacted the lives of nearly 2,000
students. Since its inception in 2012, the Gate 1 Foundation has
received more than $500,000 in donations from Gate 1 Travel to build new
classrooms, overhaul dining facilities, install water tanks, design
playgrounds and more.

“We are incredibly proud of the global work that has been done over the
last five years to provide children in less fortunate situations with
the tools and resources they need to find success in the classroom,”
said Aharoni Zisling, Vice President of the Gate 1 Foundation. “In
addition to new projects abroad, we are actively looking for ways to
help schools in need throughout the United States.”

The charitable arm of Gate 1 Travel has also made improvements to its
website, Gate1Foundation.org,
and is now accepting monetary donations from the public for the first
time ever. The donations will directly support primary schools worldwide
situated in locales of economic hardship along Gate 1 Travel tour routes.

“It’s our hope that by inviting travelers to give back to global
education, we can further improve the learning environment for these
children and increase their chances at a prosperous life,” added Zisling.

In addition to monetary donations, the Gate 1 Foundation provides
travelers with the opportunity to visit some of the schools and interact
with students through a program exclusive to Gate 1 Travel. Tour guests
are able to bring small items that fit into their luggage to donate to
students in need.
