Gwyneth Paltrow Headlining Keynote Program, as World-Renowned Designers Gather for the 2016 Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville

Lectures to include Honorary Chair Bunny Williams and Interior
Designer Windsor Smith; Louis Benech and Shane Connolly to talk floral
and landscape design trends

NASHVILLE, Tenn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Gwyneth Paltrow, Academy Award winning actress and founder and chief
creative officer of Goop will headline the Keynote Program at the 26th annual
Antiques
and Garden Show of Nashville
, taking place at Music City Center from
February 12-14, 2016.


Paltrow will take the stage with interior designer Windsor Smith, as the
close friends share insights on their enviable personal design and
lifestyle aesthetics. Paltrow wrote the forward to Smith’s most recent
book, “Windsor Smith Homefront: Design for Modern Living.”

The three-day event, presented by TVV Capital and lifestyle sponsor Goop,
is the largest show of its kind in the country with more than 150 fine
antiques and horticultural vendors. The Show draws crowds of up to
12,000 to shop, view the spectacular garden spaces and attend lectures.

to hear her exclusive insights,” said event co-chair Amy Liz Riddick.

Paltrow is the founder of Goop, a lifestyle website offering curated
recipes, tips and more. Her passion for interior design, effortlessly
chic style and wellness will bring her to Nashville alongside several
celebrated designers.

The 2016 Antiques and Garden Show of Nashville will also include design
lectures and panels with Honorary Chair Bunny Williams, Brian McCarthy,
David Kleinberg, Mark Sikes, Suzanne Rheinstein and Brian Murphy. In
addition, garden lectures will be offered by French landscape designer
Louis Benech and British floral designer Shane Connolly.

Benech most recently redesigned the Water Theater Grove at Versailles,
the first new commission at the palace since the era of Louis XVI.
Connolly, dubbed “The Flower Maestro” by Flower Magazine, has brought
his expert eye to the floral world for over 25 years – including the
wedding of His Royal Highness Prince William and Catherine Middleton in
April 2011.

“Louis Benech and Shane Connolly epitomize what makes the Antiques and
Garden Show of Nashville a one-of-a-kind event,” said co-chair Elizabeth
Coble. These renowned designers and authors will discuss current and
traditional design elements, and how to best incorporate antiques into
the modern lifestyle. Further discussion and book signings will follow
each event.

Clinton Smith, editor-in-chief of Veranda and author of “The Romance of
Flowers,” and David DiBenedetto, senior vice president and
editor-in-chief of Garden & Gun and the editor of “The Southerner’s
Cookbook: Recipes, Wisdom, and Stories,” will also be hosting book
signings.
