HKTDC: from LED Components to E-Scooters: 29 Exhibitors on the Hong Kong Combined Stand at the Spielwarenmesse

FRANKFURT, Germany–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Once again, there will be a combined stand (Hall 12.0, Stand G-01-1)
with 29 Hong Kong exhibitors organized by the Hong
Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)
at the world’s largest toy
fair in Nuremberg, Germany, when it opens its doors from February 1 to
6, 2017.

STEM toys (Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics)
are growing in popularity and aim to promote children’s creativity and
provide them with a better understanding of science and technology. In
Nuremberg Amazing
Toys Limited
will be presenting Skylab Adventure. The scientific
educational game conveys knowledge about energy and kinetic energy,
chemical reactions, anti-gravitation and mechanics. Technical
understanding is also the aim of the colourful LED blocks from Maylok
Toys Industries Company Limited
with functions such as MP3 player,
radio, sound sensors and voice recording.

To help children staying active, Hong Kong Exhibitors offer equipment
for outdoor activities like the imaginative and highly colored diving
goggles, flippers and snorkels from Bestfine Swimming Appliances Limited
and the neoprene toys, bags and swimwear from Welon
International Limited
. Scooters continue to stay popular. Nixor
Sports Limited
offers a large selection, including an e-scooter,
skateboards and trikes.

Back in Nuremberg is Zuru
Limited
, the creator of Bunch O Balloons, last year’s winner of the
Toy Award in the SchoolKids category (6-10 years) and of a large number
of collectable figures such as the Tsum Tsums and Robo Alive.

As collecting remains trend car models, remote controlled racing cars or
kiddy cars can be found at Haro Int’l Co., Da
Feng International Holdings Limited
and Rastar
(HK) Industrial Co., Limited
. Newest models of drones are presented
by Syma
Technology Co., Limited
and Toy Shock International Limited. Fun is
also assured with the Super Wings figures from Hong
Kong Alpha Group Limited
which can be transformed into an aircraft
in just ten steps.

Always popular are the luminous yellow rubber ducks from Tradex
Industrial Limited
available in all types of designs. Younger
children enjoy the easy to hold building blocks or the rattles in animal
shape from Toy Hero Company Limited.

Hong Kong’s toy manufacturers are well equipped for the future. In the
rising market for licensed products along with evergreens such as Hello
Kitty, the key drivers are primarily cinema box-office hits and TV
cartoons. For the learning toys in addition to the construction kits,
building blocks, puzzles and board and card games, there is an increase
in STEM products and technology-based toys, above all those using
Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) features. Additionally
the market for collectors of cars, action figures or cartoon characters
– which has already captured a significant share of the toy market –
promises further growth. To meet the varied demands of individual target
groups, more and more companies are producing two lines of the same
products: one for children and one for adults.
