Impact Cryotherapy Cryosauna Freezes Out Competition on ABC’s “Shark Tank”

Our retail partner GLACÉ CRYOTHERAPY, from Carmel, CA, pitched the
sharks on Friday’s prime-time episode. Shark Barbara Corcoran bites for
$100,000 and receives a 30% share

ATLANTA & CARMEL, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–We’re proud to report that our retail partner, GLACÉ
CRYOTHERAPY
, received $100,000 and buy-in from “Shark Tank” investor
Barbara Corcoran. Owners Skyler Scarlett and Brittney Scarlett-Torres
put their whole-body cryosauna, manufactured
by Impact Cryotherapy
, in the spotlight on Friday night’s episode.
With support from Corcoran, the GLACÉ CRYOTHERAPY team plans to extend
their franchising opportunity to operators nationwide.

After taking the bait Barbara Corcoran exclaimed, “These kids are
golden!” We couldn’t agree more and Chad
Finnegan, VP of Business Development
, said it best, “Building the
market with a professional and energetic team like GLACÉ CRYOTHERAPY
makes what we do even more exciting. They have a great business model
and those across the country could benefit from their knowledge.”

The same attention to detail and future-focused drive that is applied to
our manufacturing process is also used as a benchmark to help choose
retail partners. Every potential operator is evaluated for their ability
to connect with customers, their dedication to whole-body wellness, and
their fit within the Octagon Experience; as well as their retail
location and business plan. The brother-sister team behind GLACÉ
CRYOTHERAPY is one of our industry-leading retail partners and we are
excited to help as their success continues to grow.

Impact Cryotherapy is the leading cryosauna manufacturer in the United
States. We stand behind our iconic product with an elite support team
and the quality guarantee that comes from being made in the USA. Richard
E. Otto, Impact Cryotherapy CEO and Co-Founder, states, “By
manufacturing Impact Cryotherapy equipment in the U.S., we have
end-to-end control of the engineering, design, manufacturing process,
quality assurance, safety and energy efficiency, installation, training
and service.”

To date, hundreds of Impact Cryotherapy cryosaunas are used in 38 states
and internationally by a wide range of wellness entrepreneurs.
Professional and university sports teams, resorts and spas, and fitness
and training centers also rely on Impact Cryotherapy equipment for its
performance-enhancing, whole-body healing, and rejuvenation capabilities.

Whole-body
cryotherapy
was introduced in Japan during the 1970s to treat
rheumatoid arthritis, and the practice quickly spread throughout Europe
in the following years. Our modern, whole-body cryosauna features a
height-adjustable platform that ensures the user’s head remains outside
the unit. The cryosauna then fills with nitrogen vapor which drops the
temperature to a range of (minus) – 180°F to -210°F, and temporarily
lowers the temperature of the skin’s top layer. The treatment lasts a
maximum of three minutes before the Impact Cryotherapy cryosauna
automatically deactivates. This deep, dry chill hacks into your
evolutionary bio-responses to drive blood into the body’s core and
protect the major organs. Once outside the cryosauna, this nutrient-rich
oxygenated blood is circulated throughout the body.
