B2B startup becomes global SaaS success

  • Global customers, expanded product offering, platform and partnerships
  • New offices in Boston, Los Angeles, Sydney and London
  • Winning awards for technology, customer projects and business growth

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Soaring demand from companies looking to build better relationships with
customers has driven enormous growth for BookingBug, helping fuel the
biggest product and platform updates since the company was founded in
2008. The company continues hiring world class talent after opening
several new global offices, including its new North American
headquarters in the heart of Boston, MA.

In-store added value services like personal shopping and expert-led
customer events have become a core strategy for retail brands such as
Babies R Us, Bebe and Golfsmith. BookingBug is also seeing dramatic
growth across the financial services sector, working with some of the
biggest banks and credit unions in the US.

Federal and state government departments are also adopting the same
technologies and strategies to provide public services efficiently and
in a way that caters for each customer’s channel(s) of preference.
Clients include the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department for
Work and Pensions, HM Treasury and a diverse range of local government
organizations in the US.

What does each of these organizations have in common? They are all
looking to create closer, more meaningful connections with customers.

Going global with new products

Demand for BookingBug’s technology over the last four years has grown
revenue by 1074%1. To meet this growing demand, BookingBug
has opened a new North American headquarters in Boston, a new global
headquarters in London, and opened offices in Los Angeles and Sydney.
The company has also built a global network of technology and SI
partners including Salesforce, Oracle and Deloitte.

Propelled by this growth, BookingBug is expanding its product offering
to encompass the entire online-to-offline customer journey. The company
has launched solutions for clienteling and on-site and off-site traffic
activation to build on its established omnichannel appointment and event
booking platform, with more to come over the next six months

BookingBug Founder and CEO, Glenn Shoosmith, comments:

“In a world built on connections, a purely transactional relationship
is no longer good enough. Companies have to truly understand their
customers, online and off, then give them an experience worth leaving
the house for.

“This shift in mindset is fuelling BookingBug’s growth. With world
leading customers, global partners, international offices and a rapid
rate of hiring, I’m incredibly proud of what the team at BookingBug has
done over the past eight years. From banking to healthcare, almost every
sector is now realizing the benefits of building real and meaningful
connections with their customers.

“We don’t feel like outsiders or the little guy anymore. We aren’t
persuading anyone to take a risk on a relatively new option.
BookingBug’s technology has become the de facto standard across retail,
banking and government and it doesn’t stop there. Any business that
deals with people needs to understand that closer connections lead to
long-term loyalty.”
