Jennifer Plunk and Mark Duffy to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter February 2017 Luncheon Meeting in Fort Worth and Dallas Hosts First Networking Luncheon of 2017

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Jennifer Plunk, CPA, and Mark Duffy, both of Whitley Penn, will be the
guest speakers at the luncheon meeting of Women’s Energy Network (WEN) –
North Texas Chapter on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the Fort Worth
Petroleum Club, 777 Main Street, Suite #4000. Jennifer Plunk is an audit
manager and Mark Duffy is a tax senior manager. Networking will be the
focus for the luncheon meeting of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN) –
North Texas Chapter on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Locke Lord
offices, 2200 Ross Avenue, Suite 2800. Registration for both events will
begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00 p.m.

Ms. Plunk and Mr. Duffy will present a presentation entitled
“Acquisitions and Dispositions in the Oil & Gas Industry.” A
question-and-answer session will follow this timely presentation.

Ms. Plunk has more than 6 years of audit public accounting experience
focused on public and private companies. She focuses most of her
attention in the following industries: energy, manufacturing and
distribution, services, employee benefit plans industries, and
non-profits. Ms. Plunk holds a Master of Accountancy and a BBA in
Accounting from the University of Oklahoma. She is also member of the
Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Mr. Duffy has more than ten years of experience in public accounting. He
primarily assists clients in the Energy, Real Estate, Professional
Services, International Tax, Manufacturing and Distribution, and State
and Local Tax areas. Mr. Duffy earned his BBA in Accounting from Texas
A&M University and his Master of Science in Accounting from the
University of Texas at Arlington. He is a member of the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of
Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce,
HEB Chamber of Commerce, and the Tarrant County A&M Club.
