Kaplan University Earns Reaffirmation of Regional Accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission

Exhaustive peer review process reconfirms approval of University’s
educational programs and integrity of operations through 2025-2026
academic year

, today announced that it has received Reaffirmation of
Accreditation by the Institutional Actions Council (IAC) of the
Higher Learning Commission
. The determination continues Kaplan
University’s regional accreditation through its 2025-2026 academic year.

The regularly scheduled reaffirmation process included a thorough peer
review of Kaplan University’s assurance argument which was complemented
by site visits to seven Kaplan University ground campuses.

reaffirmation, Kaplan University has been given the choice of an
accreditation pathway to follow until the next reaffirmation in
2025-2026.

Central region, which includes 19 states. Recognized by both the U.S.
Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education
Accreditation, the HLC accredits approximately one-third of U.S.
regionally accredited public and private institutions.
