Marsha Clark and Jacki Pick to Speak at Women’s Energy Network – North Texas Chapter September 2015 Luncheon Meetings in Fort Worth and Dallas

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Marsha Clark, executive coach and independent consultant at Marsha Clark
& Associates, will be the guest speaker at the luncheon meeting of the
Women’s Energy Network (WEN) – North Texas Chapter on Thursday,
September 10, 2015, at the Fort Worth Petroleum Club, 777 Main Street
#4000. Jacki Pick, host of “The Jacki Daily Show,” will be the guest
speaker at the luncheon meeting of WEN on Tuesday, September 22, 2015,
at the Dallas Petroleum Club, 2200 Ross Avenue. Registration for both
events will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by the luncheon from noon-1:00
p.m.

Marsha Clark will present a talk titled, “Invisible Differences,” at the
September Fort Worth luncheon. A question-and-answer session will follow
her presentation.

Ms. Clark is an executive coach and independent consultant who founded
Marsha Clark & Associates in 2000. Her company offers workshops covering
topics including building and sustaining trust, interpersonal
relationships, conflict management, courageous conversations, and
developing partnerships in organizational systems. In partnership with
Dottie Gandy, Ms. Clark co-authored the book “Choose! The Role That
Choice Plays in Shaping Women’s Lives” (Brown Books 2004). She has also
been featured in several books including, “Powering Up: How America’s
Women Achievers Become Leaders” (Anne Doyle, 2011), “Women of North
Texas” (Moor, 2003), and “Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things”
(Voci, 2005).

Prior to starting her own business, Ms. Clark was a corporate vice
president of Electronic Data Systems (EDS). During almost 21 years with
EDS, she held a variety of roles with ever-increasing responsibility,
including serving as an assistant to the Chief Operating Officer,
working in the areas of strategic alliances, performance management, and
account operations improvement. Ms. Clark serves on the non-profit
boards of Novus Academy and Empowering Women as Leaders. She has a
Master of Science in Organization Development from American University
in Washington, D.C.

Jacki Pick will present a discussion titled, “Communicating the Energy
Message.” A question-and-answer session will follow her presentation.

Ms. Pick is the host of “The Jacki Daily Show,” a radio program that
focuses on the geopolitics of energy. Past noteworthy guests on the show
include Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum; former National Security
Advisor General Jim Jones; and Phelim McAleer, journalist, producer, and
director of the pro-energy film “Fracknation.” Before launching “The
Jacki Daily Show,” Ms. Pick served as General Counsel to a defense
contractor specializing in energy. Previously, she served as legal
counsel on Capitol Hill to the Chairman of the Subcommittee on the
Constitution and the former Ranking Member of the Commercial and
Administrative Law Subcommittee, advising the Chairman on the oversight
of federal agencies. Prior to her career in Washington, Ms. Pick worked
as a corporate litigator and as an Assistant Vice President for a major
national bank.

Ms. Pick entered public life at a young age as a finalist in the Miss
Teen of America pageant, and she served as a National Committeewoman and
as a Public Relations Director for an Ohio based political organization.
She studied Economics, Spanish, and World History at Marshall University
(Society of Yeager Scholars), Oxford University in the United Kingdom,
and the University of Zaragoza in Spain. Ms. Pick is an alumna of the
Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as the President of
the law school’s Federalist Society chapter.
