PlusOne Sports Partners with Grand Coral Golf Riviera Maya in Mexico to Bring FlingGolf into New Markets
Innovative sport will spread to Mexico, Latin America and South
America

Sports announces the latest development in the spread of its
innovative new game, FlingGolf.
FlingGolf is continuing a meteoric yearlong rise by moving
internationally, today signing a new partnership with Grand
Coral Golf Riviera Maya, to help make FlingGolf available to lovers
of outdoor fun in Mexico, Latin America, and South America.
FlingGolf — best described as a hybrid of golf and lacrosse — is played
on a golf course, with a golf ball, and is scored similar to golf.
Players use a FlingStick — a lightweight, carbon fiber stick with a high
tech cradle for the ball at the end — to launch a regulation golf ball
around a golf course. No modifications to the course are required, and
it’s so easy to learn that players can head out to the greens in less
than a half hour.

Players play FlingGolf right alongside golfers, even in the same
foursome, which has made it very easy for courses to adopt. “Flinging is
relaxed, athletic and fun, so it’s drawing in those who are frustrated
with golf or were never really interested,” added Van Alen. “And parents
who golf can bring their kids out to play alongside them—it’s a great
way to get the whole family, or anyone who’s never played golf before,
out on the course with or without traditional golfers.”
