Rockland Trust Earns Perfect Score in 2016 Corporate Equality Index

Receives 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Annual
Scorecard on LGBT Workplace Equality

ROCKLAND, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Rockland Trust Company, a commercial bank that serves Eastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island, received a perfect score of 100 percent
on the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), administered by the Human
Rights Campaign Foundation. The Index is a national benchmarking survey
and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBT workplace
equality. Rockland Trust is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Independent

CEI’s criteria results in a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a
Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
