ENGLEWOOD, Colo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#SlingTV–NHL Network, the TV home for the National Hockey League, launched today
in Sling TV’s “Sports Extra,” still $5 per month with a Sling Orange
subscription, or $10 per month with a Sling Blue subscription. Today’s
launch on Sling TV marks the first time that NHL Network is available by
an over-the-top provider.

NHL Network provides live games and special on-site coverage of NHL
events, signature studio shows, interviews, highlights and expert
analysis from a variety of hockey insiders and former players.
Additional programming includes behind-the-scenes features, player
profiles and international and amateur hockey competitions.
The Network will offer more than 75 matchups to Sling TV customers,
including New York Rangers v. Washington Capitals (Oct. 22), the Tim
Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ between the Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton
Oilers (Oct. 23), Pittsburgh Penguins v. Philadelphia Flyers (Oct. 29),
and Los Angeles Kings v. Chicago Blackhawks (Oct. 30). NHL Network also
brings its live weekday studio programming, including the fast-paced
“NHL Now” at 4:00 p.m. ET, the prime time flagship show “NHL Tonight” at
6:00 p.m. ET, and the nightly highlights show “On The Fly.” As with NHL
Network telecasts, games watched via Sling TV will be subject to local
blackouts depending on the user’s location.

TV via NBC Sports, NBC (select markets) and Fox Sports Regional Networks
