Demand for Mobile Entertainment is Growing

This exciting news comes at a time when the demand for mobile
entertainment is surging. According to Parks
Associates
, 68 percent of smartphone owners listen to streaming
music daily, while 71 percent watch short video clips. Almost 40% of
smartphone users watch long form streaming video clips like TV shows and
movies on a daily basis.

“The mobile entertainment era is in prime time,” said Harry Wang,
director-Mobility Research at Dallas-based technology consulting firm
Parks Associates. “With growing adoption of bigger screen smartphones
and LTE-enabled tablets, American consumers are spending more time for
entertainment on mobile platforms than ever. Even TV episodes and
movies, like those offered by Amazon Prime Video, have a growing
audience on smartphones.”

For music, in particular – Sprint customers have some of the highest
incidence of daily music consumption among U.S. carriers – 73 percent of
subscribers for Sprint listen to streaming music daily, versus 66
percent of Verizon users.

Mobile Entertainment on a Fast, Reliable Network

Sprint customers can experience all of the entertainment that Amazon
Prime offers on a fast, reliable wireless network. In the second half of
2015 Sprint achieved a total of 212 first-place (outright or shared)
RootMetrics® RootScore Awards for overall reliability, speed,
data, call, or text network performance in 125 metro markets, compared
to 135 awards in 2H14 and 27 awards in 1H14.4

Plus, the Sprint LTE and faster LTE Plus Network deliver faster download
speeds than Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile based on Sprint’s analysis of
recent data from Nielsen.5

Sprint
LTE Plus
, available today in more than 150 U.S. regions, and Sprint
customers with compatible devices can experience peak download speeds in
excess of 100 Mbps. What a great way to enjoy the music, movies and
award-winning content that Amazon Prime delivers!

50 Percent Off Competitor Rate Plans

Being able to access one of the world’s most popular membership services
on a monthly basis is another great reason to switch to Sprint. New
customers still have the opportunity to save 50 percent off most AT&T,
T-Mobile and Verizon standard rate plans when they switch to Sprint. In
addition, Sprint will pay switching fees up to $650 per line6.
