Students Prepare for Life After High School at Colorado Preparatory Academy

— Students return to online public school August 22nd

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Colorado
Preparatory Academy
(CPA), a tuition-free, online public
school, will begin their 2016-2017 school year on August 22, excited to
be another step closer to college. Students attending CPA are in an
educational environment that pushes them to achieve greater academic
performance in school and sets them up for future success.

Colorado students in grades K through 12 are welcome to attend CPA. The
school offers a post-secondary preparedness program that ensures
students attending the school are prepared for college.

The school’s comprehensive education approach focuses on providing
students with the academic, social and emotional support needed to
succeed in school and beyond. The online learning environment allows
students to work at their own pace, giving them time to progress faster
in subjects at which they excel, while spending more time on subjects
and lessons where they need more help. This unique model and
individualized approach has helped make CPA one of the fastest growing
schools in Colorado.

“We believe that every child is capable of meeting the high expectations
of our program,” said Nicole Tiley, head of school at Colorado
Preparatory Academy. “With the support and guidance from our teachers
and their parents, we make sure that every child is set up for success
through high school and into the future.”

At CPA, state-certified teachers provide instruction, guidance and
support, and interact with students and families via email, web-based
classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face meetings. This
ensures that students and their families feel supported yet challenged
in their education in a way that may be different for every student.

Earlier this summer, CPA challenged enrolled families to prevent summer
‘brain drain’ by offering students free access to LearnBop,
a self-paced solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math
tutoring experience. The award-winning online program will continue to
be available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used
alongside the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare
for high-level exams.

CPA is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about
