Travelers Earns Highest Mark on 2016 Corporate Equality Index

Named to Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s List of Best Places to
Work for LGBT Equality

HARTFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV)
today announced it has earned a perfect score on the Human Rights
Campaign Foundation’s 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), and has also
been named to the organization’s list of Best Places to Work for LGBT
Equality. The CEI is a national benchmarking survey that ranks
participating companies on corporate policies and practices related to
lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workplace equality. This
year’s CEI survey rated 1,027 companies across the country, and only 407
companies attained a score of 100 percent.
