Women in Technology to Honor Best/Brightest Leaders in the Region

Annual Leadership Awards Scheduled for May 19

FAIRFAX, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Women in Technology (WIT), the premier organization contributing to the
success of professional women in the Washington, D.C.-area technology
community, will host the 17th Annual Leadership Awards on Thursday, May
19^th, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA.

This annual awards program identifies, recognizes and celebrates female
professionals who are leaders in a number of technology fields and who
bring unique vision talent and impact to the industry, while supporting
their community.

WIT will honor leading women in categories ranging from large and small
Corporate Private sector, Government, Rising Star, Small
Business/Entrepreneur, Technical Excellence, Unsung Hero, and WIT
Champion. WIT will also bestow a Corporate Leadership Award to a company
demonstrating progress and leadership in women’s representation on
corporate boards.
