Sunday night, a lot was happening while commercial breaks were airing –including a health crisis by Miss Universe Puerto Rico who fainted on stage. Show producers had to call paramedics when Puerto Rico’s Gabriela Berrios fainted during a commercial break following former Miss Universe Gabriela Isler’s farewell speech, sources close to the pageant told VOXXI. SEE ALSO: And the Miss Universe is… Miss Colombia! We’re curious to know what caused her to zonk out during the live telecast, but perhaps it has to do with her weight loss journey to the crown. Did she not eat before the competition? Did her sugar drop? Or Is there a baby bump on the way? Those who are familiar with Gabriela’s story know she was not always what the beauty industry would consider slim, and much of her life was spent combating obesity. The queen dropped over 60 lbs thanks to Xco Latin Workout — an aerobic routine popular at some gyms. Berrios, 24, talked to Primera Hora and talked about the dizzy mishap. “I was fine, but when I looked down, everything went blank. I tried to sustain myself but I fainted. I felt very dizzy at that moment, but I received immediate help and I was able to recuperate as soon as possible,” she explained to the Puerto Rican newspaper. “It was just the adrenaline of the moment, those things tend to happen.” Though Berrios did not qualify to nab a spot in the competition’s top 15, she managed to take home the title of Miss Universe Photogenic. The last time a Puerto Rican queen was named Miss Universe Photogenic was in 2004 by Alba Reyes. Upon receiving her trophy, the Caribbean beauty took a selfie on stage with the pageant’s hosts –an experience she said she’s “very happy” with. “I’m the first candidate to take a selfie during the live show,” she said. “And at that moment, everyone in the world knew who Gabriela was and that I was from Puerto Rico.” Berrios was also honored with a one-year modeling contract with Chi Hair products. “I’ll be the face of the company, and I’m sure that it will open a lot of doors for me in the modeling world, it’s something I like, that I’m passionate about and with that, I feel very happy,” said Berrios. They want you to play Marcia Brady,'” Trejo told VOXXI about the first time he got the news. “For 20 years, I’ve been the bad guy in Hollywood. I’ve been the meanest guy in Hollywood. I’ve been the guy that when I walk in the room, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone all stand up, and they expect me to do Marcia Brady?” he laughed. Trejo admitted that the idea of playing a vain and pretty TV character was “hilarious.” Eventually he gave in, stating that he’s seen previous commercials starring Joe Pesci and Betty White. “I said ‘yes, yes, yes’ because I love Snickers too. It was just funny,” Trejo said, adding that he liked watching the late ’60s and early ’70s sitcom because he was “in love with the mom.” The commercials with the slogan “You’re not you, when you’re hungry” have become popular in recent years. When asked about how he reacts when he’s feeling hungry, Trejo said, “you should ask my daughter.” Further elaborating, he explained that “grumpy” is not the word to describe him.”You know, when it’s feeding time at the zoo and all the animals are going crazy? That’s me when I get hungry,” he said. As the Super Bowl XLIX approaches, Trejo said he’s rooting for the West Coast team, the Seahawks. It was also reported Carey will be filling in for Celine Dion – who postponed her shows at Caesars Palace last August to care for her husband. The singer opened up to her fans about her new project in the interview. “And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I’m gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album Number 1’s, and this is now the updated version with 18 of them. Hopefully other people will enjoy this. I’ve never done this before,” Carey added, “It’s a new chapter for me and I’m just excited about it,” the singer said about the upcoming performances. Carey’s announcement came after she was criticized for her vocal performance during her recent tour but it seems like that didn’t stop mimi’s career. Vegas baby!!! Rumors that Madonna had been recruited to take the stage were making their rounds late Monday night so those who were waiting with bated breath can now relax. Her manager Guy Oseary confirmed to Billboard that she will be performing at the 57th annual Grammys. This will be Madonna's fifth time at the event. In 2014, she joined Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for “Same Love” and “Open Your Heart.” The Grammys will also be the public’s first opportunity to look at AC/DC since the group released their new LP “Rock or Bust.” The fate of the entire band may be at stake because the band must decide whether or not to move forward without drummer Phil Rudd. The drummer, who faces drug possession and threatening to kill charges in New Zealand, is due back in court on February 10th, two days after the 57th annual Grammys. Rudd has publicly stated “I want my job back, I want my reputation back and I'm gonna get it back.” Sheeran is up for three awards at this year's Grammys, including Album of the Year for “X.” Ariana Grande was nominated for two awards: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj for “Bang Bang” and Best Pop Vocal Album for “My Everything.” Church scored four nominations, most notably Best Country Album for his “The Outsiders.” Expect more performers to be announced as the date of February 8th draws closer and closer. Negron, who played the pizza delivery guy in Fast Times battled liver cancer for the past seven years, according to the Los Angeles Times. SEE ALSO: 5 renowned comedians who happen to be Latino The beloved comedian was born in Glendale, California, on August 1, 1957 to parents of Puerto Rican descent. His Puerto Rico-born grandmother, whom he once described as a movie-loving free spirit, greatly influenced his passion for performing. By the time he was 19, Negron had dropped out of the San Francisco Art Institute in order to pursue stand-up comedy. Born Brad Stephen Negron, the comedian adopted the first name Taylor after the street he lived on in San Francisco. Negron had an extensive body of work Negron broke into the entertainment industry with small roles in films and TV shows like “Easy Money,” “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” and “Young Doctors in Love.” He continued to score these small yet memorable roles until 1982 when he snagged the part of the pizza delivery guy in “Fast Times.” “I’m not famous,” Negron said in 2013. “I’m fame-ish.” Negron’s impressive body of work includes films like “Punchline” (1988), “Angels in the Outfield” (1994), and “Stuart Little” (1999). He has also made appearances on popular TV shows such as “Friends,” “Reno 911,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” and “ER.” In addition to his talent as a comedian and performer, Negron was also a skilled artist. According to Deadline Hollywood, Negron was on the board of LACMA and had several exhibitions of his own works over the years. Early on in his career, Negron would even sketch movie set extras for some extra pocket money. Taylor Negron’s influence on comedy Negron was a major force on the LA comedy scene. He performed stand-up at Comedy Central Stage’s Sit-n-Spin, at the Un-Cabaret, and at The Moth. He also penned numerous comedy essays that appeared in “Love West Hollywood: Reflections of Los Angeles” and the anthology “Dirty Laundry.” Comics and performers were quick to pay their tribute to Negron after the news of his death. Billy Crystal tweeted, “So sad to hear of the loss of Taylor Negron. We will cross this off our list as the studio album and tour dates are released! 9) A GRAMMY win for Romeo Santos Making history in so many ways, 2014 has got to be one of the best yet for bachata singer Romeo Santos. Fifteen Cuban actors took to a stage in Havana, singing songs such as “One Song Glory” and “Seasons of Love,” all familiar numbers from the critically acclaimed show. The performance of these songs at the Bertolt Brecht Theater in Havana is particularly significant in the wake of President Barack Obama’s announcement that relations with Cuba are being reestablished. This is because the Cuban revolution banned Broadway musicals decades ago. RENT opens in Cuba The show’s producer, Robert Nederlander Jr, told the “The Telegraph,” that at 50 cents a seat, putting on the show was more about bringing a piece of Broadway to Cuba and less about the money. It debuted on the 24th of December, Christmas Eve. As with the reestablishing diplomatic relations between both countries, putting the show on stage was a drawn out process. “Getting permission to bring the show here was extremely challenging. It took us well over a year to negotiate,” Nederlander Jr. told The Telegraph.   Cuba before and after the revolution has never suffered from a lack of artists in all mediums, but after the Communist revolution, the arts suffered on different levels. Between censorship of art that the government deems threatening to the Castro dictatorship, lack of money and resources, artists have often felt neglected. In the case of the famous Cuban National Ballet, the acclaimed troupe is often forced to perform the same classic productions year after year, because they can’t pay for the rights to perform newer productions. Many have defected for better opportunities in the US or abroad. SEE ALSO: Renewed US-Cuba relations could bring old cars back to life But in the case of Broadway shows, Cuba’s government showed resistance and hadn’t allowed shows of this type to be produced on the island. When asked why “RENT” was a good fit for a Cuban audience, Nederland told “NPR”: “It’s a universal story which transcends particular nationalities – a story of love, friendship, struggling and succeeding over adversity.” The show is expected to run for at least one more month in Havana.

Unfortunately for him, that was a long, long time ago. The famous Lance Cumson of Falcon Crest is now a ruined man of 56 years who has a mere $500 in his bank account, having filed for bankruptcy for the second time in his life. The synopsis of the book reads: “In Renegade at Heart, the Emmy– and Golden Globe–nominated actor pulls back the curtain to share his startling and explosive story. The money and notoriety, the fights and falling outs, his years of battling abandonment and attachment issues after his parents’ divorce, his epic romances and tabloid-making marriages to his four ex-wives.” At 56, Lamas believes it’s time to reveal the “unvarnished” truth about his life. And that truth is none other than a traumatized childhood and adult life full of excesses with drugs, cars and women. The actor also delves deep into his relationship with his famous father, Fernando Lamas, a key figure in his life. According to the book, “his penetrating words of wisdom guided Lorenzo through turbulent times and to a sense of renewal and new beginnings.” However, not even his father was able to avoid the difficult moments that Lorenzo has been through. In fact, his powerful influence has been often a difficult burden to overcome for the actor, who defines himself in the book as an overweight and aimless child who found it hard to live up to the expectations of his famous father, whose exploits made him the inspiration for the “most interesting man in the world.” But Lorenzo feels proud “to have surprised everyone, shaping up and ultimately winning countless black belts in tae kwon do and karate” and “despite his father’s early discouragement, he pursued acting, starring in Falcon Crest and Renegade.” Sex, drugs and excesses Unfortunately, his television success also brought Lamas serious drugs problems and difficulties in maintaining a stable relationship. The actor has been married four times and has six children. Now he can´t pay the full $ 322,000 needed to maintain them and clear his debts owed to his former wives. One of the juicier anecdotes in the book reveals that, after meeting two twin sisters on the set of Grease in 1978, his first film role at age 20, he had a threesome with them. Plus, he reveals that one day he arrived so drunk to the set of Falcon Crest that he asked one of the makeup artists to spray him with a whole bottle of deodorant. His condition was not lost on Jane Wyman, the actress who played Angela Channing and in real life was a close friend of Lorenzo’s stepmother, actress Esther Williams. She took Lorenzo aside and made him promise to never work in such state again.
