One of their latest honors is their nomination for Urban Album of the Year at the forthcoming Premio Lo Nuestro. Their most recent release “La Escencia” is up for the title against artists Yandel, Wisin, Daddy Yankee and J. Balvin. Receiving much success and positive feedback, the guys recently launched “La Escencia: World Edition,” with extra goodies for their fans. Included in the special edition is the release of their freshest single “A Ti Te Encanta” (You Like It), along with a music video premiere this Friday: Check out everything the reggaeton duo told VOXXI of their latest record. VOXXI: Where did Alexis y Fido get inspired to write the sensual lyrics found in “A Ti Te Encanta”? Fido: We got inspired from the desire that women have when they go out to a party. What they want is to have a good time and meet new people. VOXXI: What can you tell us about the official music video? Alexis: The video was recorded in Venezuela with the participation of over 80 women. There’s also some steamy and passionate scenes. VOXXI: Why did you decide to release “La Escencia: World Edition”? FIDO: Thankfully we are aligned globally with our own record label “Wild Dogz Music.” That’s why we decided to launch this new edition and reach new territories. VOXXI: What extras are found in this special edition? FIDO: It was two remixes, three unedited tracks and a collection of new photos for our fan base.
