Since the 60’s David Bowie has remained a driving force in the world of rock music and popular culture, just ask any one of the Baby Boomers or Generation X’ers who still find him relevant to this day. If your mom and dad are the ultimate roqueros-at-heart, then you’re bound to have a David Bowie classic vinyl in your house.
The singer-songwriter is set to release a CD box set that promises to make happy campers out of his fans.

Seventy of his chart-topping songs split into four CD’s give life to the “Sound + Vision” box set to be released on September 22nd by Warner Music.
The forthcoming box set covers Bowie’s career from 1969 to 1994 and covers 21 albums beginning with the acoustic demo version of his first hit “Space Oddity” to “The Buddha of Suburbia,” a 1993 soundtrack album that accompanied the 4-part TV series with the same title on BBC2.
“Sound + Vision” is a rich survey of Bowie’s many musical lives offering his countless classic hits, archives, long lost B-sides, explosive live recordings and soundtrack recordings.
His late-era productions such as “Outside” (1995), “Heathen” (2002) and “The Next Day” (2013) are not included in the box set, but no one’s complaining.
Bowie, 67, continues to be a cutting edge musician and artist, icon, fashion guru, and all round inspiration to several generations, including Miley Cyrus and Kesha, and remains a unique phenomenon in contemporary culture.
