AgentHero Merges with Military Property Project to Create MILLIE

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AgentHero – the national network of residential real estate agents, all
of whom are veterans or military spouses – has merged with the Military
Property Project (MPP), which provides military personnel and their
spouses with the resources to manage, own, and invest in real estate, to
create MILLIE.

MILLIE is an online community offering both local information and expert
services to help military families experience more informed, less
stressful relocations to new duty locations (known in the military as
Permanent Change of Station, or PCS).

MILLIE will bring together the tools and resources pioneered by
AgentHero and MPP, including AgentHero’s elite group of hand-picked real
estate professionals, all of whom have lived the military life, and
MPP’s SCOUT.

A verified network of military spouses, SCOUT connects military families
in one area of the country with military spouses (“scouts”) in other
areas who serve as their “boots on the ground,” checking out prospective
neighborhoods or properties, meeting potential tenants or repairmen, and
handling other activities connected to property ownership. There are
currently 65 scouts at 50 military bases in the U.S., with plans to add
scouts overseas in the near future.

The merger and subsequent creation of MILLIE comes on the heels of a
partnership between AgentHero and MPP announced in mid-2015. “We found
that partnering with AgentHero enabled the Military Property Project to
significantly expand the range of resources we were able to offer to
military families,” says MPP Co-Founder Lauren Rothlisberger, who will
serve as MILLIE’s Director of Marketing.

“This is simply the next logical step in that relationship,”
Rothlisberger continues. “Now, those previously served by the Military
Property Project will have access to AgentHero’s nationwide network of
real estate agents, all of whom have military backgrounds, all of whom
have been required to frequently relocate their own families to new and
unfamiliar cities, and all of whom have first-hand knowledge in buying
and selling their homes.”

“We’re excited to be joining forces with the MPP team, and to be
offering the ‘go-to’ resources they developed, all of which have become
indispensable for families in the military,” says AgentHero Co-Founder
and CEO Ken Robbins.

In addition to SCOUT, MPP has developed two e-books focused on buying
the right real estate and turning property into an investment home, as
well as a workbook which walks users through the landlord process and
provides self-calculating forms and necessary property documentation,
all of which can be signed digitally.

“Combining these resources with AgentHero’s own unique business offering
– which assures that consumers are not only getting a highly regarded,
thoroughly vetted agent to represent them in their home buying or
selling transaction, but also a veteran or military spouse dedicated to
providing the same level of honesty and integrity that was required of
them while in uniform – represents an unbeatable combination that
undoubtedly will benefit military families now and into the future,”
notes Robbins.

AgentHero, which will retain its name and continue to operate under the
MILLIE umbrella, currently has 214 real estate agents in 40 states.
Rather than representing a single national real estate brokerage,
AgentHero agents come from different brokerages, but are united in their
dedication to service which comes from their time in the military.

MILLIE will donate a portion of all proceeds to charities that support
U.S. veterans and active-duty military. For more information, visit www.gomillie.com.
