Cintas Corporation Ranked 4th in the Nation for Certified Occupational Safety and Health Sites

BALTIMORE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cintas
Corporation (NASDAQ: CTAS) today announced that its locations in
Landover, Frederick and Waldorf, MD received Voluntary Protection
Program (VPP) Star certification from the Maryland Occupational Safety
and Health Administration (MOSH). VPP Star is the highest recognition
for the practice of and commitment to exemplary occupational safety and
health.

The latest Cintas locations to receive the VPP Star certification puts
Cintas in fourth place in the entire nation for companies with VPP sites.

“This recognition is only awarded to businesses that meet very detailed
and comprehensive requirements,” stated Rick Gerlach, Sr. Director of
Safety and Health. “It is a team effort and requires the management team
and front-line partners working together toward the common goal of
eliminating workplace injuries and illness.”

The Landover, Frederick and Waldorf locations employ more than 250
people in the state of Maryland.

Since 2011, a total of 44 Cintas facilities have been recognized under
