Critically Acclaimed Artists MCCAW to Host Rare Los Angeles Exhibit in Private Studio

Father-Son Artists Spanning Two Generations Will Showcase New
Works on Thursday, November 12

TORRANCE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–For the first time in more than a decade, highly acclaimed American
Expressionist Dan McCaw and his sons, John McCaw and Danny McCaw, will
open the doors of their private working studio for a special exhibition
of select new works. The opening reception of the MCCAW Collective will
take place on Thursday, November 12 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the studio
located at 1269 Satori Avenue in Old Torrance.

Rarely do a father and his two sons work under a single roof– in a
dynamic atmosphere where curiosity, open mindedness, and traditional
wisdom co-mingle with experimentation, innovation and change.

The comprehensive MCCAW perspective is evident when taking into account
the work flows from three individuals, spanning two generations, with
sixty years of combined, consistent critical acclaim and recognition.

“The MCCAW objective examines, contemplates and directs a fresh look at
contemporary issues such as the relationship between art and reality,
memory and fantasy, symbols and anthropology, existential ideas and
human psychology,” says Dan McCaw. “Within the walls of a static
environment (the studio) a dynamic and constantly evolving relationship
between artists, materials, ideas, and technique evolves as each
expresses and explores the endless realm of possibilities.”

The exhibit will run until November 14, 2015.
