41-Foot RV Makes it Easy to Shop for Health Coverage
MINNETONKA, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Medica today announced the launch of the Medica Mobile, the centerpiece
of its traveling community engagement and sales program. The 41-foot RV
is wrapped in Medica branding and is designed to travel the Midwest to
bring information about health insurance to people interested in health
care coverage in the senior and individual and family markets.
The Medica Mobile will make stops throughout the Medica service area,
which includes the states of Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota,
South Dakota and Wisconsin.
On board the vehicle, consumers can sit down with a Medica
representative to find out about health insurance options in their state
and even fill out an application on the spot. The unit is equipped with
private booths, as well as computer and printing equipment. Large

Medica Mobile will have an opportunity to express what they want from a
health plan by signing a “guest book” (contact information is optional).
Medica uses that feedback to refine the services and plans it offers.
One of the first stops for the Medica Mobile is the parking lot at
Medica headquarters. This weekend, Dec. 5-6, it will be parked at 401
Carlson Parkway, Minnetonka, Minn., where seniors can stop by and review
their options for Medicare coverage during the last weekend of the
Annual Enrollment Period. Other upcoming stops may include sporting
events, festivals, fairs and other local venues throughout the Midwest.
