NBSC to Provide Financial Assistance to Three Organizations for Flood Recovery

COLUMBIA, S.C.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–NBSC, a division of Synovus Bank, announced that it will make a
cash donation to the Low Country South Carolina Chapter of the American
Red Cross, United Way of the Midlands, and the Central Carolina
Community Foundation (CCCF) in support of their ongoing response to the
South Carolina floods. NBSC’s $100,000 donation will be divided between
the three organizations.

The donation was announced at the University of South
Carolina-Vanderbilt game on October 17 — the Gamecocks’ first post-flood
appearance at Williams-Brice Stadium. The USC Athletic department used
NBSC’s pledge as a challenge to encourage fans in attendance to give to
the United Way of the Midlands and American Red Cross.
