Reinhart’s 2016 Traditions Conference Raises over $55,000 for Charities
ROSEMONT, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Reinhart Foodservice, L.L.C. and its supplier partners raised more than
$55,000 in charitable donations through live and online auctions as well
as raffle prizes during this year’s Traditions Sales and Merchandising
Conference. All proceeds will benefit the Light Foundation (www.mattlightfoundation.org)
and Feeding America® (www.feedingamerica.org).
Reinhart’s charity auction is in its fourth year and continues to build
on the company’s commitment to these two important charitable
organizations and the communities in which they serve.
With the help of celebrity guests Matt Light (former New England
Patriots’ player and founder of the Light Foundation) and Lauren Olaya
(professional golfer, entrepreneur and fitness expert best known for her
appearance on the Golf Channel’s Big Break), as well as Reinhart and its
supplier donors, the event prizes ranged from trips to event tickets to
sports memorabilia, electronic packages, food baskets and more.
“Over the last three years, Reinhart has helped the Light Foundation
raise over $140,000, which is really incredible,” said Light, who helped
host the auction. “Due to Reinhart’s generosity, we’ve been able to do
some incredible updates including a renovation of our facility’s
amphitheater, hiring on new staff and hosting our first-ever Leadership
Conference in Massachusetts. From everyone at the Light Foundation,
