Superior Farms Pet Provisions Teams Up With Pitman Farms

Companies Working Together To Market Natural Treats, Chews and Pet

DIXON, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Superior Farms Pet Provisions is becoming well known for its natural,
wholesome pet treats and chews throughout the country. That reputation
is about to get even stronger, as they have signed an exclusive
agreement to partner with Pitman Farms and their brand of Mary’s Pet
Food, which features a raw pet food diet made with organic chicken, and
free range duck and turkey.

Pitman Farms is a vertically integrated company, controlling their
product from the farms to feeding to processing and transportation.

“This is a great alignment for Superior Farms Pet Provisions,” said Gary

companies and we use single source animal protein. We are very excited
to bring these high-quality products to market nationally.”

Similar to SFPP, Mary’s Pet Food is also grain and gluten free. Their
all-life-stage diet for dogs also utilizes all organic fruits and
vegetables in their formulas. Both companies also have a strong work
ethic for success, as Pitman Farms is family-owned and operated, and
SFPP is an employee-owned company.

“Superior Farms Pet Provisions has an understanding and knowledge of the
pet industry. We’re good at being farmers of organic chickens, turkeys
and ducks,” said David Pitman, third generation in the family business.
His grandfather started raising turkeys in 1954.

“I always make a joke that it is a family business for all the good and
the bad,” said Pitman. “I enjoy working with my family all the time. I
also enjoy changing how the industry does things and opening a lot of
eyes – whether it is animal welfare, air chill, organic… we keep pushing
the envelope. And the best thing is that customers now are there to
support pushing the envelope. It’s about quality and the overall
package.”

Superior Farms Pet Provisions plans on helping tell the great story of
the Mary’s brand in the marketplace. “I’m hoping that this can bring us
a more complete line for raw pet foods in the industry and future
products for pet treats.”

The new products will be featured with a new packaging design at the
SFPP booth 1313 at Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida next week.

venison, and beef pet treats and chews from its own facilities in USA
