Dixie Stampede Transforms into Holiday Wonderland!

Family Traditions Created and Celebrated at Branson’s Top Dinner
Attraction

BRANSON, Mo.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–When Christmas at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner Attraction opens
Oct. 27, the action-packed family fun show will transform into a
beautiful holiday spectacular. Folks who experience Christmas at
Dixie Stampede
(Oct. 27 – Dec. 31, 2016) will be amazed at the
complete show makeover including a full-scale living Nativity, holiday
adornment, seasonal music, a Santa Claus sighting and a four-course
feast.

Impressive new technology highlights Branson’s family-favorite Christmas
show, dazzling audiences with a 150-foot wide LED wall backdrop that
displays stunning holiday vistas that change with each scene.
Enhancements in state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems also enrich
guests’ holiday experience.

Families will be mesmerized as they watch “Toys Come to Life,” an
amazing musical fantasy that accentuates this Christmas entertainment.
The Sugar Plum Fairy appears in a sleepy toyshop and magically brings
all the toys to life in a musical celebration that includes a stunning
aerial display set to the unforgettable music of The Nutcracker.
It will delight the child in every member of the family.

“Christmas is my favorite time of year. It’s full of fond family
memories,” Parton explained. “At my Dixie Stampede, we celebrate family
time and the true meaning of Christmas. We invite families to come make
memories with us over a good meal and wholesome entertainment.”

The Christmas show features a seasonal twist with a friendly rivalry
between the North and South Poles full of equestrian feats, music,
comedy and audience participation. Guests will be awed by the birth of
Jesus reenacted with Mary, Joseph, the wise men and a living Nativity of
camels, donkeys and sheep. No Christmas would be complete without an
appearance by Santa — Jolly Old Saint Nick arrives in his sleigh, as
Dixie Stampede’s arena is transformed into a winter wonderland of fresh
fallen snow.

The entire Christmas celebration is complemented by a four-course
holiday feast consisting of a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory-smoked
barbecue pork loin, herb-basted potato, buttery corn on the cob, creamy
vegetable soup, homemade biscuit and special holiday dessert.

Admission includes a unique holiday dinner and show experience set in a
35,000-square-foot arena featuring 32 magnificent horses, thrilling
horsemanship, holiday pageantry and audience participation, showcased in
a friendly rivalry between the North and South Poles, all complemented
by a fabulous four-course holiday feast.
