High-Achieving Students Prepare for a Successful 2016-2017 School Year

— Students return to online public school August 22nd

DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Students at Texas
Online Preparatory School
(TOPS), Texas’ premiere
college-prep magnet online school, will begin their 2016-2017 school
year on August 22, ready to be challenged by the school’s academically
rigorous program. Students attending TOPS are highly motivated and often
college-bound.

Texas students in grades 3 through 12 are welcome to attend TOPS. The
school’s comprehensive education approach focuses on providing
top-performing students with the academic, social and emotional support
needed to succeed in school and beyond. The online learning environment
allows students to work at their own pace, giving them time to progress
faster in subjects at which they excel, while spending more time on
subjects and lessons where they need more help.

TOPS excels in helping high-achieving students reach their academic
goals, setting them up for success in college and beyond. A robust
Advanced Learner Program gives students the opportunity to push
themselves in their education and take classes specifically designed to
help students enter college. Students also have the opportunity to earn
college credit while still in high school.

“Watching our students succeed is one of the greatest feelings,” said
Sara Baker, head of school at Texas Online Preparatory School. “After
they leave TOPS, our students go on to great universities and to do
amazing things.”

At TOPS, state-certified teachers provide instruction, guidance and
support, and interact with students and families via email, web-based
classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face meetings. This
ensures that students and their families feel supported yet challenged
in their education in a way that may be different for every student.

Earlier this summer, TOPS challenged enrolled families to prevent summer
‘brain drain’ by offering students free access to LearnBop,
a self-paced solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math
tutoring experience. The award-winning online program will continue to
be available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used
alongside the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare
for high-level exams.

TOPS is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about
