Be an angel at Club Glazz
Club Glazz is known as the hottest and biggest nightclub in New York City, so I had to see what all the hype was about.
The club has three floors, including a rooftop lounge that can accommodate 1,500 people. The nightclub has that “Viva Las Vegas” vibe with its comfy leather couches and acrobatic dancers descending from the ceiling.
What impressed me the most about Glazz was the diversity of the crowd. It’s a cross section of the city: Latinos, Asians, Caucasians, and
African Americans mingle by the bar overdrinks and hookahs for the price of $30 before heading to the dance floor.
Glazz is where you go to dance the night away. The DJ mixes the latest dembow, bachata, reggae, merengue and hip-hop to get the crowd moving. Unlike other clubs, Glazz is spacious enough so that you aren’t bumping elbows with another partygoer.
Keep your eyes open because local celebrities are typically hanging ouit in the VIP area. Artists such as Tony Dize, Cosculluela, De La Ghetto, Nengo Flow perform or having their events at the club.
This Saturday, skip the long barbecues and get over to Club Glazz its “Angels vs. Demons” party on Latin Night. Ladies dressed in an angel or demon costume get in for free, but if you’re planning to attend, visit http://www.glazzny.com and sign up for the guest list for reduced pricing.
Here’s a tip for the guys: Club Glazz has a 3:1 ratio with three girls for every guy, so it an ideal spot to find your next date. Covers for guys on Saturday’s is $25 and girls are $20 but if you’re on the guest list, girls are free. Wear your hottest dress this weekend with sky-high pumps and guys, dress sharp!.
Check back next Thursday to see where I’m headed that weekend and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter @Mabel_Martinez1 and tell me about your favorite nightlife spots.
